FunctionsMaria Sipilä is a Senior Consultant at Spinverse, and has strong international marketing experience in the area of product management and new technologies. She is responsible for Contacts business, strategic conference and event development for leading technology focused enterprises in various industry sectors such as forest, nanotechnology, energy, metal and telecommunications, and social media business area. Maria is also leading corporate communications of Spinverse.
Maria has worked 8 years with Nokia in various global marketing and product marketing roles including new mobile phone launches worldwide, competitor intelligence operation mode development and market research for Nokia mobile phones. Maria has also worked as Chief Strategist in the area of management consulting.
Maria has a M.Sc. (Econ.) degree from Helsinki School of Economics, Finland. She has a family of two kids. In her free time Maria enjoys tennis, fitness, family life and culture.
Hanna Timonen is an Event Manager at Spinverse.
Since 2000 Hanna has been a driving force in the events and conference management industry working with commercial conference houses and nonprofit organizations. She has experience in executing international events like executive level, R&D and new technologies such as mobile payments events, sponsorships, sales and promotion.
Hanna has both studied and worked abroad. She relocated to Finland 2007 after spending 10 years in Europe and US.
Hanna is completing her M. Sc .studies from University of Jyväskylä, Finland. In her free time she loves to go to the gym, travel and learn about new cultures. She also enjoys skiing, equestrian activities and hiking with her dog.
Katriina is working as a Marketing Coordinator for Spinverse. She has a M.Econ.Sc. degree in European Economic and Public Affairs from University College Dublin, Ireland and a Bachelor's degree in International Marketing and Management from Hanzehogeschool Groningen, the Netherlands. Katriina has previously worked for an international service company subcontracting procurement services, and in the industry and innovation office of DIT research institute. In her spare time Katriina enjoys Pilates, yoga and various outdoor activities.
Tom is a consultant at Spinverse. He has an M.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Helsinki University of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of Birmingham, England. He's responsible for the EU-projects and international networks of the company. Tom is also the event coordinator of Europe's largest annual nanotechnology conference, Nanotech Northern Europe 2008. Tom has previously worked on strategy development for a globally-renowned Finnish engineering firm, and as a project manager for a leading UK university. His hobbies include debating, running, and squash.
Jesse is working as a Marketing Coordinator at Spinverse, specializing on event marketing activities and graphic design. He is studying Media Engineering in Helsinki University of Technology. Jesse has two years of marketing and human resources experience with global non-profit organization, besides that he has experience in media creation in governmental institution. Jesse is passionate about arts and life. His hobbies include gym, dancing and photography.
