Pekka Koponen, Founder and CEO of Spinverse, has strong international experience in emerging technologies and markets. Pekka joined Nokia 1990 as a smart card expert for company’s first GSM phone. During the following 14 years he gained experience in R&D, strategy, marketing, sales and creating new ventures. His extensive international career includes expatriate assignments in China, Singapore, UK and Czech Republic. Pekka’s last position at Nokia was Partner in Nokia’s spin-off fund and before that Director of Strategy & Business Development at Nokia’s Software & Services-unit.
Matti has been working for Spinverse since 2008. As a Senior Consultant he was the team leader of the Technology Transfer & Scouting -team providing technology transfer and commercialization consultancy services for companies and research organizations. In January 2013 he became Director of Operations and is currently in charge of Spinverse service production, M&O and F&C.
Mikko is a seasoned new business development expert and strategist. His versatile international experience covers various high technology businesses from industrial logistic and retail automation to electronic payments and heavy engineering. He has lived, studied and worked internationally his entire career, dealing with marketing and sales, business development and change management.
Pirjo Pasanen is a senior consultant at Spinverse. She has long industry experience in nano- and information technology research, and managing collaborations between industry and academia. Her main expertise is in nanoelectronic systems, novel nanomaterials, and finding applications for new nanotechnology breakthroughs.
Sari is a consultant at Spinverse. Currently she works in coordination of Tekes funded Green Growth Programme (2011 – 2015) and in number of customer business development projects.
Sari is specialized in industrial service business development. Her expertise areas include customer understanding, customer-oriented service product definition and service productising as well as modular service product definition. She has also worked with the development of different kinds of business networks. Sari knows small-and-medium sized manufacturing and solution provider companies and has a deep understanding on their business development needs.
Christiane is the Service Leader for Markets & Networks at Spinverse. She is the contact point for clients interested in cluster creation services, EU-projects and high-impact conferences. She focuses on seizing business opportunities for clients wanting to grow through emerging technologies and new markets, or to access new networks or partners in Europe, e.g. through EU-projects.
Oleg is a Project Manager at the Russian office of Spinverse, located in St.Petersburg. He is mainly involved in market analysis, technology feasibility studies, technology scouting, economic analysis and reports, project management as well as identifying new business for the Russian branch of Spinverse. Oleg serves EU customers that are willing to explore the opportunities provided by the Russian market.
Julius is a senior analyst at Spinverse. He has a M.Sc. degree in Telecommunications from Aalto University and he is interested in bringing technical and economic aspects together. In his Master’s Theses, he got to nourish this interest as he studied and participated in the development of a technology enabled service.
Kaisu is an analyst at Spinverse specializing in technology and innovation program management. Her main focus areas are bioenergy, green technologies and innovative use of renewable raw materials. She is currently working on the preparation of a new bioenergy program and co-coordinating the Tekes Green Growth program.
