4.2: Third parties involved in the project

This section is divided to two categories: Subcontracting and Linked Third Parties. There are budget considerations for both of these that are handled in more detail in the Budgeting pages.

Instructions:

Subcontracting:

If you plan to subcontract a significant portion of the work, you must identify the work and the company doing it. Include the budgeted cost for it. Explain how you have ensured Best Value for Money through tendering. If no company can be named, then tendering/selection criteria for it need to be outlined so the Best Value for Money is ensured.

Linked Third Parties:

If you plan to bring in another entity from your Group that you have a legal link with, you should describe here who they are and what tasks/portions from the Work Plan they will be doing. Include the estimated Person Months or other costs they will incur to your own budget at this stage. These will be separated in the Grant Agreement and the linked third party will have to adhere to EU reporting rules when it comes to their part of the costs.
