Senior Consultant, Manufacturing & Industrial Transformation (Gothenburg, Sweden)

Do you want to help companies turn ambitious ideas into well-structured, funded innovation projects? 

As a Senior Consultant at Spinverse, you combine your understanding of manufacturing and industrial transformation with client advisory, business development and public funding expertise. You help customers shape project concepts, bring the right partners together and prepare competitive funding applications that move the green and digital transition of industry forward. You will work with both existing and new customers, and in this role you will:

• Discuss ideas with customers and assess whether they can become fundable, investment-ready projects. 
• Advise on suitable European and Nordic funding opportunities – such as Horizon Europe, the Innovation Fund, Industriklivet, Kraftlyftet, Vinnova or Energimyndigheten – and shape winning project concepts. 
• Build project consortia and lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives. 
• Support proposal writing from early idea to submitted application and grant award. 
• Guide customers from strategic roadmap, R&D and pilot projects towards industrial implementation, scale-up and investment readiness. 
• Drive business development and support our growth in the Nordics and across Europe by identifying new opportunities and building long-term customer relationships in manufacturing, industrial transformation and green-transition projects, both nationally and at European level. 

Who we are looking for 

You bring technical credibility in manufacturing and industrial transformation together with the ability to open business opportunities, advise customers and lead complex initiatives. We hope you will bring with you: 

• Around 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, industrial transformation or technology-driven industries, preferably including consulting experience. 
• A proven track record in project concept development, consortium building and funding and investment applications, from first idea to grant award, in EU and national programmes such as Horizon Europe, the Innovation Fund, Industriklivet, Kraftlyftet, Energimyndigheten, Business Finland or Vinnova. 
• Thorough understanding of industrial production, automation, digitalisation, advanced manufacturing and sustainable industry, together with good knowledge of European and Swedish funding programmes, industrial policy and innovation ecosystems. 
• Strong business development, strategic advisory, sales and customer relationship management skills, experience in building partnerships and leading complex multi-stakeholder initiatives
• Excellent written and spoken English with Swedish language skills considered an advantage
• A collaborative and commercially minded approach: you build relationships easily, take initiative and work in a strategic, pragmatic and results-oriented way.
