About the project
The ASCERTAIN project addresses the need of patients, physicians, payers, regulators and manufacturers to improve the affordability and accessibility to innovative health technologies (including pharmaceuticals) in Europe. The project aims to improve the quality of care for cancer patients especially in Eastern Europe. If certain parts in the process can be accelerated, the project outcomes can make a life-changing difference to cancer patients. For instance, some open-access tools to be developed for decision makers in European countries can be applied on pricing and reimbursement.
Impact of the project:
The project outcomes will help for instance cancer patients to get better access to newest pharmaceuticals and innovative technologies throughout Europe and beyond.

Spinverse’s role
Spinverse funding experts supported the consortium in its successful funding proposal process. Spinverse also contributed to the process in mapping the stakeholders in value chain, and contacted and motivated them to join the consortium.
As we had another funding application process going on for us, the support from Spinverse was indispensable during the application process and the Grant Agreement Preparation phase. An external consultant like Spinverse was able to provide us with essential expertise on such a complex process and complemented our somewhat scarce resources, whilst helping us reach the successful outcome.

About the project
The LIFE Lit4Nature aims to establish a stronger, evidence-based system for biodiversity conservation and restoration across Lithuania. Major focus will be placed on strengthening the national biodiversity monitoring system, improving data collection and integration and on introducing innovative monitoring approaches to support evidence-based conservation and restoration decisions.
Impact of the project:
The project aims to boost stronger biodiversity and ecosystem recovery across Lithuania through nationwide conservation and restoration. Further, it wants to achieve better national coordination for efficient and well targeted conservation measures and their funding.

Spinverse’s role
Spinverse experts supported the coordinator throughout the two-stage LIFE Strategic Nature Project application process from concept note development to submitting the final proposal.
The support included workshops that brought together the proposal team to sharpen the project concept and focus the application on the most relevant and critical aspects of Lithuania's
Prioritised Action Framework for Natura 2000 and the forthcoming National Restoration Plan.
Spinverse’s strategic guidance, hands-on support and thorough quality reviews helped us focus on the critical aspects, strengthen the proposal logic and present its impacts convincingly.
