About the project
Current technologies for discovering allergies are costly and unreliable. Medical practitioners must pre-select very few allergens for in-vitro testing, based on prior anamnesis, which often results in false or incomplete diagnosis.
The smart way to explore allergy - ALEX, developed by MacroArray Diagnostics (MADx), is the next generation in vitro test for type I allergies. A novel multi-parameter allergy test that is cost-efficient and delivers instantly correct results.

Allergy Explorer test delivers right-first-time results for all allergic patients, while reducing the overall costs for the healthcare provider.

Spinverse’s role
Spinverse helped plan an SME Phase 2 funding proposal and helped the MacroArrayDiagnostics to present the right level of technical details.
Together, we formulated the way to present the business case and work plan for the project. Spinverse also provided assistance in the Grant Agreement preparation.
With the help of Spinverse experts, we analysed our existing business plan, expanded it with the right answers to new questions, and also created an easy to understand written plan. When you are very close to your own business it is very beneficial to receive input from fresh minds on how to best present your vision. Spinverse took us step by step through the complex registration and application process of the SME instrument, which finally allowed us to receive a €2.5 million funding for our project. Without the extensive know how and multi-disciplined team of Spinverse I doubt that we would have achieved this in the short timeframe we had in mind.".
