Wuudis is a e-commerce platform for forest owners to track their forest resources in real time, order forestry services as well as tender their wood resources for sale – even from their living rooms.

In Europe, 60% of the forest area is owned by private individuals, many of whom live far away from their forest property and have no specific forest management expertise. They lack both the knowledge and the easy tools for managing their forest resources.

Forestry contractors are dependent on the conventional industrial chain and lack cost-efficient ways of contacting forest owners to offer their services directly.

How we reached the goals

Spinverse strongly supported in business and project planning, proposal writing and evaluation of the quality of the proposal before submission. After a positive decision from EU Commission, We supported MHG Systems in the project negotiation and reporting phase.

Key takeaways

The Wuudis project aims at assessing the market, proving technical and economical viability as well as searching for partners and updating the business plan. With Spinverses help, MHG Systems secured a €50,000 from Horizon 2020 SME instrument phase 1 call “Stimulating the innovation potential of SMEs for sustainable and competitive agriculture, forestry, agri-food and bio-based sectors” in 2017.
