About the project
SHAPE was established to challenge conventional manufacturing models, provoke change and to develop practical, scalable solutions that lower emissions while strengthening long-term competitivenes. The extended funding will help Mirka scale what they have started, deepen ecosystem collaboration and secure long-term industrial impact. The extended programme builds on the existing SHAPE framework and further develops its work packages to address evolving industrial challenges.
Impact of the project:
Remanufacturing and refurbishment processes today are complex and difficult to automate, creating bottlenecks in circular systems. Through digitalisation, robotics and advanced automation, SHAPE 2.0 seeks to make these processes more efficient, scalable and economically viable.

Spinverse’s role
Spinverse is proud of the long-term collaboration with Mirka.
Our joint work regarding the SHAPE ecosystem so far has included support in both funding proposal phases, setting up the ecosystem and other ecosystem leadership related services.
When shaping SHAPE, it has been important for us to have the right partners to challenge and refine our thinking. Spinverse has acted as a valuable sparring partner throughout the journey, supporting us particularly in shaping the programme and articulating its ambition during the formulation phase.
