About the project
We need immediate actions to fight the climate change also in marine industry. The ZEM ecosystem aims to accelerate the implementation of technologies that enable the introduction of green fuels and drive the ecosystem towards economically feasible carbon-neutral fuels such as ammonium and hydrogen..
Impact of the project:
The sustainable technology solutions to be developed in the Zero Emission Marine ecosystem project will not only benefit the marine industry but the energy sector at large. At the same time, being part of the ZEM ecosystem will benefit many innovative companies co-creating the solutions.

Spinverse’s role
Spinverse supported the Wärtsilä team in planning and preparing their winning project proposal in the Business Finland challenge for leading companies, also known as Veturi challenge.
Spinverse’s depth and width of expertise as well as their track record in supporting companies and consortia in winning national and EU funding calls was a key factor when choosing a partner for setting up the Zero Emission Marine ecosystem. We are confident that we will together, in the ecosystem, fulfill and exceed our promise to decarbonize the Maritime world.

About the project
The LIFE Lit4Nature aims to establish a stronger, evidence-based system for biodiversity conservation and restoration across Lithuania. Major focus will be placed on strengthening the national biodiversity monitoring system, improving data collection and integration and on introducing innovative monitoring approaches to support evidence-based conservation and restoration decisions.
Impact of the project:
The project aims to boost stronger biodiversity and ecosystem recovery across Lithuania through nationwide conservation and restoration. Further, it wants to achieve better national coordination for efficient and well targeted conservation measures and their funding.

Spinverse experts supported the coordinator throughout the two-stage LIFE Strategic Nature Project application process from concept note development to submitting the final proposal.
The support included workshops that brought together the proposal team to sharpen the project concept and focus the application on the most relevant and critical aspects of Lithuania's
Prioritised Action Framework for Natura 2000 and the forthcoming National Restoration Plan.
